If you think that the only way to lose abdominal fat is to run for 2 hours on the treadmill every day, I still believe! The truth is that jogging can be bad for your weight loss goals. If you want to burn that belly fat fast, so the best thing you can do is that the drop of boring cardio routine. Here’s a way to get better, faster results, spending much less time in the gym.
The best thing you can do to lose abdominal fat is to build lean muscle mass on your body. The key word here is ‘lean.’ I’m not talking about bulking up and becoming a giant bodybuilder. Instead, once you start building lean muscle on your frame, you will look much slimmer and more toned, no matter your gender.
To accomplish this, drop the treadmill routine and start to focus on lifting weights. Remember, this is not body-building. To lose abdominal fat while lifting weights without bulking up, here’s how:
Instead of doing isolation lifts, focus on multi-joint, compound lifts. This means exercises like power cleans, bench press, squats, lat pulldowns, and others that involve more than one joint. Comprise your workout of several exercises that will end up working almost every muscle on your body, whether primarily or secondarily. Each time you workout it should only take 45 minutes to an hour, but each workout should be very intense.
When you change your workouts from endless treadmill running, to weight lifting, you’ll be amazed how fast you build a slim, toned body.
